What Happens in a Class?
Every Little Lights class is intentionally designed to help children grow into confident communicators, creative thinkers, and kind classmates — combining imaginative play with age-appropriate theatre technique.
Three acts, every session
Welcome Circle
Every class begins together in a welcoming circle where children greet one another, share ideas, and become part of their theatre community.
This routine builds public speaking, listening skills, and a sense of belonging from the moment class begins.
Imaginative Play
Our carefully chosen activities encourage children to solve problems creatively, think on their feet, work together, and express themselves in a safe, joyful environment.
Through imaginative theatre games, children become explorers, storytellers, superheroes, animals, astronauts, chefs, and whatever else their imagination may dream up.
Research consistently shows that dramatic play supports language development, self-regulation, executive functioning, creativity, and social-emotional growth — and is linked to stronger social competence and flexible thinking.
Final Performance
Each program concludes with a special live or videoed performance celebrating everything the children have learned. Watch for an email with specific performance details.
Rather than focusing on perfection, we celebrate effort, teamwork, taking risks, and the courage to stand in front of an audience — with every child contributing in a meaningful way.
